Diversity of platforms to enhance learning opportunities
EDUCATION 2020’s virtual instructor-led classes allow for
open entry into the program and open exit upon completion of
the course or other benchmarks as determined by the school. The
number of courses assigned to the student and length of time
allowed in the program are also determined by the school. Due
to the nature of a virtual instructor-led course, students may
take class at any time, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week or based
upon the schedule of a school lab.
Education 2020’s courseware can be utilized both inside
and outside the traditional classroom environment. EDUCATION
2020’s Virtual Curriculum solutions include our “In
School Lab” (ISL) implementation for high-usage locations
and “Out Of Building” (OOB) learning stations for use
in non-traditional fixed locations such as student homes or care
facilities.
In Building Client Access License
The In Building Client Access License provides maximum cost effectiveness
for virtual schooling inside of the school. With the IB-CAL,
any student up to the maximum number of IB-CALs purchased can
utilize any computer within the school district at any time.
The IB-CAL provides maximum value by including access to all
available curriculum and full technical support for a single
all inclusive license fee per contract year.
Out of Building Client Access License
The Out of Building Client Access License provides educational
opportunities to all students unable to attend brick and mortar
school locations due to medical frailty, expulsion, dropout,
teen pregnancy, homebound, adjudicated youth and other students
requiring a true alternative to the public school. The OB-CAL
is accessed through the student’s computer or a computer
provided by the school presenting the same multimedia-rich virtual
instruction as offered with the IB-CAL. Administrators utilize
the Internet to access information on student progress and testing
as well as audit trail information if needed. With each OB-CAL
purchased, one media drive is included for use with the program.
Curriculum Development
In addition to our virtual schooling options, EDUCATION 2020
provides the opportunity for schools to develop their own virtual
classes utilizing their teachers, materials, content and testing.
Because EDUCATION 2020 is centrally located, we are able to offer
additional flexibility and opportunity for schools who choose
to utilize our class creation service. Our staff provides teacher
support through the entire process, from training in the use
of our proprietary Virtual Classroom instructor system to the
structuring of their very own virtual instructor-led class. From
start to finish, a course can be completed in approximately 4
to 8 months.
