EDUCATION 2020 if focused on increasing graduation rates by providing flexible learning opportunities for all students.

Connection to Academic Standards
The No Child Left Behind Act requires supplemental services to be consistent with the instructional program(s) of the district(s) and with state academic content standards.

EDUCATION 2020 classes either meet or exceed State Academic Standards in the areas of Language Arts, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, Health Education and Career Readiness. EDUCATION 2020 provides all 6 - 12th grade core curriculum. Each of these classes is built on national and state standards utilizing state approved textbooks and materials taught by a certified teacher. Each EDUCATION 2020 class is rich in both breadth and depth of content, as each was developed to satisfy standards in all 50 states. On average, the content delivered in the EDUCATION 2020 Virtual Classroom comprises double or triple the content and supporting/demonstrative materials found within the traditional classroom.

Our technology-based learning systems align closely with the goals of No Child Left Behind and each school district’s instructional schema to satisfy those goals. EDUCATION 2020 programs provide each district with the capability to:

  • Strengthen/enhance current core academic offerings
  • Deliver courses that closely align with state standards
  • Implement programs that address the needs of low-achieving, at-risk and under served populations
  • Provide administrators, teachers and parents with statistically valid and reliable assessment information on individual student progress

In addition, we assert that every student who participates in our program(s) will be:

  • challenged by rigorous, core academic curriculum in a safe, personalized learning environment
  • taught by qualified, certified professionals with expertise in their specific subject area
  • aware of what they will be expected to comprehend and demonstrate mastery of by the end of a course/program and are informed at the beginning of each lesson/course as to how they will be evaluated on the imparted material
  • provided with immediate and relevant feedback in regards to their performance and progress
  • given additional resources and assistance to insure comprehension, in timely manner, when difficulties are identified

The EDUCATION 2020 Virtual Classroom methodology does not differ from the instructional program(s) of any district or school.
